Dear Friends:

As the leading not-for-profit organization emphasizing energy efficiency in Utah the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition, Inc. is making a positive impact in our communities and in our state. But we need your assistance!!

It's never too late to make that tax deductible donation to the coalition to help get your taxes down. Contribute generously now for a more energy efficient Utah!

Throughout the state of Utah one can find non-profit organizations such as the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition serving citizens, communities, government agencies and addressing numerous energy issues of concern that affect Utah and the mountain-west. Everyone looks to Utah's non-profit community to improve, help, and strengthen our quality of life in a variety of ways.

Much attention is given to the condition of business and government in the state, but it's important to not forget that Utah non-profits fill a critical role as the third (and most importantly) independent sector in our lives. Charitable non-profits benefit all of us in ways that can't easily be quantified as tools for community building, acting as an independent watch dog and voice for those without other means of expressing their opinions and concerns, fostering a civil society and strengthening our social fabric of life. Simply stated, Utah's charitable non-profits are essential in improving the quality of life in Utah. The Utah Energy Conservation Coalition is proud to be a part of this active and vibrant part of society in Utah.

The Utah Energy Conservation Coalition is a nationally recognized not-for-profit (IRS 501.C.3) training and educational organization committed to making housing throughout the state of Utah more accessible and energy efficient for all. The Utah Energy Conservation Coalition (UECC) works to educate home-buyers, builders, building & code officials (both residential and commercial) financial organizations, and the general public on economical ways to conserve and make use of energy efficient products and services in all areas of the housing and energy industries.

Energy efficiency is becoming a more visible component of the housing industry and our environment. Through numerous education and public awareness programs, the emphasis and demand for energy efficiency is growing stronger and more visible each year. Through generous donations and contributions such as yours, the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition will be able to continue to meet this demand and provide more efficient and successful programs and services throughout Utah and the Mountain-West.

As a service not only to the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition, but to you as well -- if you (or others that you may know) make purchases over the Internet and would be willing to have a portion of your costs become a charitable donation/contribution to the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition please visit: http://www.guidestar.org/partners/networkforgood/gs_report.jsp and type in the words Utah Energy Conservation Coalition at the organization search option. While there you may also learn about our IRS tax status, view our latest IRS 990 report, and see a brief summary of our services.

As with all non-profits organizations in Utah, we welcome any and all contributions that can be used to strengthen the services that we offer. Our sincere thanks goes out to all of you that continue to contribute to the success of the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition, Inc.
